A Superfecta bet allows bettors to wager on the top four finishers in a race. Because these bets come with extremely long odds, given the difficulty of accurately predicting four finishers in order, many tracks and off track betting locations allow wagers as small as ten cents on a Superfecta. Bettors can also choose to box a Superfecta, winning so long as they predict the correct four horses to finish in the top four spots in any order. A Quinella bet is essentially the same as a boxed Exacta bet, requiring the bettor to predict the top two horses regardless of finishing order. Although the bets are similar, the odds on a boxed Exacta are typically better than those offered on a Quinella.
